Like most entrepreneurial business, the CasaMaroc (the Moroccan House) concept started in 1995 in small scale exhibitions, organized by the Moroccan concept developer Fadwa Rahhou, that took place in the prestigious Hotels of Kuwait. In response to the success of such exhibitions, Fadwa decided to develop the concept into a small boutique selling exclusively Moroccan Antiques & Handicrafts. In the morning of 11 November 1997, the Moroccan Ambassador inaugurated CasaMaroc in Salmiya, Kuwait.
In early 2004, CasaMaroc Kuwait had expanded to include a much wider collection, including Furniture. In March 2007, CasaMaroc opened it's second branch in Kuwait at The Avenues (the Biggest Shopping Mall in Kuwait)
